Ugh.
Double Ugh. I’m having one of those ultra-sick days today. My nose is completely stuffed, my eyes are runny, my couch is crunchy. I’m achy, tired, and don’t feel like doing a damn thing. My goal is to do as little as possible and plan on staying planted on the couch or in bed most of the day. We have Tropic Thunder and Season 2 of The Flight of the Conchords to watch but even my eyes hurt at this point.
Good times.
And to add to the awesome factor, JQ and G-tot are also a bit under the weather. So we are a house full of germs. A house that I don’t feel like cleaning.
I wonder if this means we can get take-out for dinner?

Absolutely get take out.
No one should cook when they are feeling ill, in fact, a scientist who I just made up in my head told me that people who cook while ill are 62% more likely to be sick longer than a person who orders take out.

That sounds like a very reputable scientist. I like their thinking. Take-out won. Actually we got pizza so nobody had to leave the house. Delivery FTW!

First time I read this I thought you said your crotch was crunchy. I spent the rest of the post trying to figure out why you would have a crunchy crotch and why you would need to tell us about it. I hope you all feel better soon!

Ummm, no on the crunchy crotch. I think that would be a far worse situation then the crunchy cough. Just sayin’.

I like these comments. Especially VP’s, because it’s (sadly?) not everyday that one hears the phrase “crunchy crotch.” I had that once, but some things are best left unsaid. Ewww.
Feel better!!

I’m sorry?

OMG- I am dying over VP and Lisa’s comments. You know, if you read the sentence fast it DOES look like crunchy crotch. I am notorious for reading fast and misreading words so I can relate to VP right now. Ha ha ha.. that was great!

Haha. I just NOW realized it say “couch” and not cough like it should. Also, not crotch.
