The "perfect" holiday activities won't be the ones that cost a lot of money, but the ones that Aria has fun doing with you. Remember perfection can't be found in a $40 piece of plastic that will be old news by February. It can however be found in a snowman in your front yard or a drive through the neighborhood to look at all the lights. It could be a family movie with a fort, some popcorn, and mugs of hot chocolate. It isn't about the money we spend, it's about the memories we make through togetherness. *Hugs* :) Thanks Amber.

Out of the box, assembled, and lights on Saturday. Sunday we did ornaments in two lazy sessions—one before and one after G-tot's nap. No rush, it will happen sooner or later. It is my goal to enjoy the holiday every year. Inevitably, my lack of finances always causes me way too much stress. This year is even worse. I want Aria to have the perfect Christmas. But the pursuit of perfection always leaves me stressed. For example, taking Aria and Aaron to the Holiday parade downtown. We left later than I wanted, I was stressed, couldn't find a parking spot, more stress, almost hit someone, total stress. Threw a fit and ticked off Aaron. Aria was quiet, but oh, the massive guilt of that tizzy I threw. Ruined rest of parade for me. So, once again, starting now, I am trying to just enjoy the holiday and realize it's not about how much money I can spend or doing the "perfect" holiday activities. I just want to enjoy my daughter, my significant other, and the holiday season. Wee-sheww, thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Oh, btw, I enjoyed your dinner and your hospitality.
