Sunday, December 27th started out like any other morning. I was woken up at 6:30 by a tiny voice calling “Mommy…mommy” from the other room. Sleepily I navigated through the dark house, scooped up G-tot, and took him back to our bed—just like I do every morning. What? I like the extra hour of sleep it allows us all to have.
Except that morning I didn’t lay back down with JQ and G-tot right away. Instead I fumbled through my underwear drawer for the cardboard box I had stuffed in the back corner. Then I trudged to the bathroom, flipped on the light, and practically blinded myself trying to focus on opening the small package in my hands.
Three minutes later, two pink lines confirmed what I already suspected—I’m pregnant.
We anticipate the arrival of the litte bugger sometime in early September.

Sadly, no. City ordinance #231.8(c)3 requires all out of town visitors to consume Milwaukee made beverages. There may be a loophole though since Sprecher’s Root Beer is made in Milwaukee.
