I had seen a few clips online and thanks to Karl, I listen to Ladies all the time but had never actually seen an episode until a couple of days ago. So funny. Not a real laugh-out-loud funny for us—more of a laughing-on-the-inside kind of show. I think it is because there are so many cringe-worthy moments that we are incapable of actually laughing out loud. Jemaine and Bret—who I swore was Brit for the first episode or two—are so awkward that you can’t look away. Am I the only one that thinks Jemaine’s head is gigantic compared to the rest of his body? Maybe it’s the sideburns. And Bret’s sweaters/sweatshirts crack me up. Add in the stalker fan and the inept band manager Murray and you’ve got a dynamic that is just too good to miss. Thank you Netflix for finally providing us with an opportunity to take it all in.

We can’t watch anymore until Netflix sends us the next disc but I’m definitely adding them to the top of our queue. That’s okay, I should probably do other stuff besides veg out in front of the television watching two New Zelanders make asses out of themselves.
